In March 2013, Shiva moved to Besançon Zoo in France, where she has joined a young male lion named Téjas. Shiva and Téjas are often found playing outside and enjoying the sun together.

The Caldwell Zoo is proud to announce that we have two new young lions. Njeri, a female born July 25, 2011, has been donated to us by the Milwaukee County Zoo and Ayotunde, a male born July 28, 2011, came to us from the Reid Park Zoo in Tuscon.

We melden u met blijdschap dat Dany onze leeuwen koning enkele dagen geleden papa geworden is. :-) Zijn prachtig vrouwtje Dana heeft geen half werk verricht vermits ze vier mooie baby’s op de wereld heeft gezet!!
4 babies were born to the beautiful lion couple, Dana(in the pic) and Dany @Pairi Daiza, Belgium.
Now that the cubs have the run of the full lion exhibit, we’ve been keeping an eye on mom Adia to make sure she’s not too overwhelmed. But we’re finding there’s no need to worry—this is one lioness who is always in charge! Read about her latest mommy heroics on the zoo blog:
